St Johns Rivership Co owns the Barbara-Lee ship, a sternwheeler that offers dining
experiences on Lake Monroe and St Johns River. The Sanford Galleon is an event hall
which overlooks Lake Monroe. Both companies are owned by the same parent
organization, Wyatt Family Holdings LLC. They are both located at the Lake Monroe
marina in Sanford, Fl and are separated by a parking lot. The original vision was for
guests to be able to use both facilities to hold full day or multi-day events. It is not
required to use both facilities but a discount is applied to the Sanford Galleon rental fees
if an event is also held on the Barbara-Lee.

The Sanford Galleon has a ground floor where most of the event space is located.
There is also a changing room with full bathroom, catwalk, and conference room on the
second floor. Everything on the ground floor is ADA accessible. The second floor is
only available via stairs.

The Sanford Galleon is listed with a building occupancy limit of 225 people. Depending
on the set-up, it is recommended that if tables are used, the occupancy is capped at
125 people.

The Sanford Orlando Airport (SFB) is 3 miles from the Sanford Galleon.
Orlando International Airport (MCO) is 27 miles from the Sanford Galleon.
Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) is 36 miles from the Sanford Galleon.

The Amtrak Auto Train is 2 miles from the Sanford Galleon and the SunRail Sanford
station is also 2 miles from the Sanford Galleon.

The Sanford Galleon offers linens for an additional fee. There are also centerpieces
and other decor that are available at no additional fee for people renting the space.

Yes! The Sanford Galleon offers commercial refrigerators and freezers that can be
used by catering companies. There is no way to heat food at the Sanford Galleon.
Catering companies must provide a certificate of insurance that will be kept on file at the
Sanford Galleon. The Certificate of Insurance must list the Sanford Galleon as an
additional insured. The caterer is responsible for trash removal and clean up post-
event.

Outside caterers are welcome and catering services can also be provided by St Johns Rivership Company. Depending on the type of food and number of people, the Sanford Galleon can be a turn-key system. Other options include hosting an event at the Sanford Galleon and then walking across the parking lot to board the Barbara-Lee ship, which provides a full-service dining experience for up to 190
people.

If alcohol is served, it must be provided by the Sanford Galleon. A bartender will be
required and alcohol can be purchased through a variety of methods including open bar
packages, cash bar packages or tickets. There is also a soda gun that provides Coke
products and can be used by the caterer without a separate bartender if no alcohol is
served.

The Display Room can be used to showcase desserts, hold gifts, and display any other
items of interest including silent auction items or other memorablilia.

There is a small deck area that can be used and holds a limited number of people.
Outdoor or water events are recommended on the Barbara-Lee ship rather than at the
Sanford Galleon.

Yes, there are 4 individual bathrooms downstairs and one full bathroom upstairs. The
full bathroom is part of the multipurpose changing room area and has a full shower
available. Two of the downstairs bathrooms also have infant changing stations and two
of the restrooms downstairs are ADA accessible. There is an additional staff bathroom
available for use behind the bar.

The conference room, called the Captain’s Quarters, is located on the second floor at
the Sanford Galleon. It has a conference table that can seat up to 22 people. There is
also AV equipment, podium and white board available for use as well as a coffee
station. The Captain’s Quarters can be rented during the week for an hourly rate of
$125/hour if the Sanford Galleon is not being used for a larger event. The conference
room is available as part of the Sanford Galleon rental space if the entire hall is booked
for an event.

There are two large screen (85in) televisions on the ground floor as well as one upstairs
in the conference room. A complete sound system is available on the ground floor
along with two podiums, one upstairs and one downstairs.

Yes. Event Venue Insurance is required with each rental of the facility. You can find
affordable options online here: https://www.theeventhelper.com/. Alternatively, you can
check with your insurance agent to see if they can assist. A Certificate of Insurance
naming The Sanford Galleon as an additional insured in an amount not less than one
million dollars ($1,000,000) for bodily injury and property damage is due two weeks prior
to the event. Effective dates must be clearly identified.

The Sanford Galleon has a nautical theme with pirates, mermaids and galleon ships
tastefully on display. The primary colors of the venue are shades of blue, grey and
brown. Guests can bring additional decorations for their event, but nothing can be
taped to the walls. No confetti or glitter can be used. The Sanford Galleon has a limited
selection of centerpieces that are also available for use. Linens rentals can be arranged
for an additional fee.

There is a changing room/multi-purpose room located on the second floor that has
access to a full bathroom. It is accessed via stairs.
